Handy Audio Recorder with Video

As our name suggests, here at Solid State Sound we specialise in solid state digitalaudio recorders. We normally leave video kit alone and so we were reluctant at first to offer the Zoom Q3. But there's no getting away from the fact that, in this day and age, something as inexpensive and clever as the Q3 is just perfect for easily capturing important sound AND video for quickly uploading to YouTube, Facebook and other sharing sites. So we relented and here it is!

Of course, the Q3 is very much an audio-driven unit. Its video function is an adjunct to its audio capabilities rather than the other way round. Audio is still the thing it does best - not surprising because the Q3's microphones are the same as those fitted to Zoom's excellent H4n. You can even turn the video function off and just use it as a stereo audio recorder. But with its picture gathering abilities here's an audio recorder with a difference!
