This equipment package comes complete with 50 watt transmitter, 25m of low loss cable, antenna with antenna matching unit and AM audio processor, the latter creating a signature sound to your station and making you stand out in the crowd.

The 50 watt capacity of this transmitter means it is particularly suitable for RSL's licensed for 1 watt EMRP (Effective Monopole Radiated Power) operation who require the extra power to compensate for antenna innefficiency.

The audio processor is the latest model from either the Orban or BW Broadcast stable and will make your station shine and stand out on the dial.

Although the system will be setup in advance depending on your particular requirements, most of the functions remain directly controllable from the transmitters front panel.

All equipment complies with the legal requirements of RTTE & CE compliance and is also FCC certified.

The antenna installation and tune-up is not a simple DIY proposition (unlike basic FM antenna systems) and therefore is included in the cost of this package. We will normally need to carry out a site survey prior to the installation to make sure your proposed transmission site is suited for AM broadcasting. Unlike FM where 'height is might' on AM a good size area of open land is normally required, typically 100+ feet square to allow for a suitable ground system to be put in place. We can however in certain circumstances install an antenna and ground system on large flat roofs such as at factories, schools or hospitals where an elevated ground system can be used. This will be determined after a site survey.
