Report-IT Live Enterprise Edition is so simple to use it's child's play!

 

To use Report-IT simply download the FREE Enterprise Edition app from the iTunes App Store and use the unique login provided by the studio to automatically log in to TieServer and download all settings for connecting to specific Tieline studio codecs or FTP servers. All you need to do is open the app, enter the password and hit 'Connect' to go live to the studio in a snap - it doesn't get any simpler than that!

 

Reporters, announcers and remote talent don't even need to program Report-IT to use it. Studio Engineers can use an iPhone with a special Report-IT administrator login to remotely create a unique password and define specific connection settings for each user.

 

All connection settings for connecting to specific Tieline studio codecs or FTP servers are automatically downloaded into the application via TieServer when the unique password is entered into the iPhone.

 

This process not only makes it very simple for users to connect, it also significantly enhances broadcast IP network security by never exposing IP address details of studio codecs to reporters and contributors in the field.

 

The other major benefit is the ability to transfer a Tieserver login account license 24 hours after logging out of Report-IT Live Enterprise Edition. This means you can transfer the ability to connect with the Enterprise Edition to a different phone, unlike earlier versions of Report-IT (click for more info below).

 

How Do I Manage Local Recordings?

Report-IT offers so much more than just live reporting. With Report-IT the management of all your locally stored recordings is very simple. At the touch of a button you can:

 

Record offline and either send the audio to the studio via a Tieline codec, or FTP without using a codec

Rename reports, trim recordings as sound bites and create user friendly playlists that make it easy to collate reports by stories, categories or record dates for playback and transmission.

Copy and paste recorded audio into other iPhone non-linear editing applications like Monle and Audioforge.

You can even program Report-IT to display your station logo when you are reporting to highlight your station's logo in media scrums and press conferences!
