All models in the BW range of power amplifiers have a BW designed broadband amplifier that can be operated at any frequency between 87.5-108MHz without requiring any tuning. The power amplifier is designed to be simple, stable and efficient with the RF output kept clean and compliant by an internal harmonic filter. The amplifier is protected from operational damage by temperature and SWR monitoring systems. In the unlikely event of a fault occuring, the power will be reduced to a safe level, keeping you on air, rather than shutting down completely. In each BW power amplifier, the broadband amplifier circuit and heatsink is mounted in a central ‘wind tunnel’ ensuring maximum airflow through the unit to keep the amplifier cool and your transmitter on-air for longer.
